A few weeks ago, the FJHS EAST Conference team traveled to Hot Springs to take part in the annual EAST Conference — and it was an awesome experience! These students earned their spots through a competitive interview process and put in a lot of hard work to prepare their booth. Their "Murder Mystery" theme was a creative and fun way to showcase the amazing work our EAST program has accomplished this year. We’re so proud of this team for representing FJHS, our EAST program, and the Farmington community with pride and professionalism! #ESED

In Physical Science at FJHS, students explored the Law of Conservation of Energy by observing how energy changes forms rather than being created or destroyed! Through 8 interactive stations, they experimented with thermal, potential, kinetic, and chemical energy. The biggest challenge? Resisting the temptation to eat the candy while calculating how much energy it provides through digestion! #ESED
