These are our "Tell Me Something Good" students this week! Here is what their teachers had to say:
Mrs. Tompkins: "Emma is a wonderful student who leads by setting a good example. She is always one of the first to be sitting in her spot with eyes on me. Thank you for making my day better, Emma!"
Ms. Amaya: "When the cafeteria looked a little messier than usual after lunch, True Smith stayed behind and helped pick up trash on the floor without being asked. Way to go true! Thank you for always being willing to help."
Mrs. Curtis: "Caleb is always willing to help me and his classmates. He even does helpful things without being asked! I'm so glad he's in my class!"
Way to go Emma, True, and Caleb! You're amazing! #ESED #JPW

Mrs Higgins: A student in my class was cold and didn’t have a jacket. Dax overheard her telling me she was cold and came up to offer her his coat!! What a gentlemen!
Mrs. Lewis: Amouri is so kind and respectful. Everytime I give Amouri a paper or help, he always says thank you. Other teachers have also complimented his kindness and respect. I am so glad that Amouri moved to our school!
Mrs. Chastain: Vivian worked really hard to pick up trash during recess and helped make our playground a cleaner place for everyone! I am so proud of her for taking initiative and caring for our school!
Way to go Dax, Amouri, and Vivian! #ESED #Williams

We are so proud of our first-quarter 3rd Grade Ambassadors! These students have been selected to serve as leaders and positive representatives of Jerry “Pop” Williams Elementary.
Our ambassadors will have opportunities to serve, welcome others, demonstrate kindness, and represent our school. They are learning that being a leader isn’t just about having a title. It’s about setting a great example, helping others, and making our school a better place.
We can’t wait to see the impact these young leaders will make! ⭐️

It’s Spirit Friday! Our cheerleaders and football players did an awesome job welcoming everyone this morning and we love to see the Cardinal tattoos, big smiles and school spirit!
See you under the Friday night lights tonight 🏈 Go CARDS!#ESED #Williams

Let's get ready to show your school spirit - TOMORROW: Wear your cardinal gear and come ready to enjoy Cardinal Tattoos and Popcorn Day! #ESED #Williams

Cardinal Food Pantry & Farmington Food Resource Guide
The Cardinal Food Pantry is open every Thursday, following the Farmington Public Schools calendar, from 3:30–4:00 p.m. The pantry is located at the Farmington Pre-K building, with food bag pickup beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the main Pre-K entrance doors.
We also offer a convenient pickup option for families who may need additional flexibility due to their schedules. Beginning this Thursday, September 3rd, families can request that their food bag be placed in the designated drop box for pickup. Families can use the QR code on the flyer to complete a brief request form for non-perishable items to be prepared and placed in the drop box on Thursday afternoons.
The second flyer is a Farmington Food Resource Guide that includes information about local food pantries, including days, times, and locations.
Reach out to the school counselor, Mrs. Phillips, with any questions: kphillips@farmcards.org or 479-267-6013 ext. 3.

Our JPW teachers kicked off the year by creating and signing our staff social contract. We believe that building a strong culture of respect, collaboration, and leadership among our teams directly impacts the way our students grow. By committing to support and uplift one another every single day, we’re creating a positive environment where both our staff and our students can thrive.
Here’s to a fantastic year of leading by example and growing together! 💙🍎 #ESED #CKH #Williams

📣 Our first PTA meeting is THURSDAY at 6:30 PM! ❤️🖤
We hope to see you there! You do not have to be a PTA member to attend, and coming to a meeting definitely does not mean you’re signing up to donate all of your time or money! 😊
We’d simply love to have more parents and families join us, share ideas, offer input, and help us find fun ways to support the amazing staff and students at Jerry “Pop” Williams Elementary!
Whether you can help a little or a lot, every bit of support makes a difference. Come meet the board, hear what we have planned, and help us kick off a great year!
❤️🖤 Tomorrow • 6:30 PM
📣 We’d love to have you there!
